And what a worthless sale. Buy something that no one in their right minds would ever use and get something that we do use for free. Why not just use the items we normally use in the first place. Or better yet, don't use the upgrades. Kick ebay in the teeth and sell your items by keeping the extra money in your own pocket.

All I know is that after the Feb fee increase I will no longer be using gallery or BIN. I'm scaling it back right now. I'm also going to have to eliminate Venio's gallery. It's not that I don't like it, it's that if I don't cut my listing and FV fees, I'll have to increase my prices. I don't want to do that. This sale of theirs is worthless, IMO.
With all the bragging of eBay's record income last year, this price increase slaps each and everyone of us responsible for that growth right in the face. It's unnecessary. They buy up companies and use our money to do it. I suspect this fee increase has a lot to do with that. As far as I'm concerned, Craig's List is now garbage. With eBay owning 25% of it, I'm staying away.
I think eBay may have bitten off their nose in spite of their face this time. Somehow, I don't feel sorry for them.

The various deals where they credit your account "next month" has been going on at least since last spring. This isn't a new thing for eBay.
"Don't waste your money on this promotion"
Not a problem. I don't use those features anyway. This sale is pretty useless.

Why would you think that you should Cheryl? Profits are increasing and they are expanding. What is it that you think might justify this sympathy you are denying them?
