I checked my ship to. It was fine. Normally I have questions for the seller but this past week only two.

It's not just you popnrock, I have 250 items in my store, no bids in a week. 68 regular auctions running, ending soon, only 11 have bids. Maybe it's tax time again!

Feb has been one of the slowest months for me however it doesn't explain my slow European sales.

I know a lot of sellers do not want to deal with the overseas customer but for me they are my main source of sales.

I'm Selling everyday but not much. I dropped my E-Bay store. If I don't do well with auctions,I'm certainly not going to do well with a store. I've got 112 listings left on auction maybe as they go off sales will pick up.

It's one of those things that a broad statement does not really apply. The first 17 days of February have been fantastic for me, my ebay store sales are about 53% of what I set as a goal for myself each month, and February is a short month. This week's auction seems a little slow, last week's was great though.

Not trying to be a cheerleader here, but it reminds me of a coin show - Same venue, same customers, and one dealer can have the best show in their life, and the other can have the worst. It doesn't necessarily reflect on the coin show, there are just so many factors why one person did well and one person didn't. Of course the one who did poorly is going to blame the show, but is that really fair or accurate?

Here too our eBay Fixed Price Auction Sales (the only type we run), and Store Sales have greatly slowed down.

Our web site sales are about normal; in fact, they are running way ahead of February sales on our web sites for last year (2004).

I just checked our monthly charts for the last three years on our web sites, and see that Jan.- May are some of our best selling months. Statistics on such are provided for us by our cart provider (Just Add Commerce). All of our web sites run through one cart system, so we get some very good information and history on sales activity.

Who knows - perhaps the eBay 5-cent sale put so many items into the eBay system, that sales are being spread out much further, making fewer sales for each individual.

Anyone have the stats of auctions currently running? This is one of the reasons I don't like these promotions. I don't usually take part in them, and I think they affect sales. My auction sales are definitely below average this week, in terms of bids at this point, and amount bid.

Usually, my eBay sales (antiques and collectables etc) are best when listings are at about 12 million. Anything over that seems to makes them drop incrementally -- not surprising. Too much clutter at the moment.

Shows, on the other hand, have been stronger than usual for the past two months. Nothing wrong, then, with the marketplace, simply the venue.

Cheers.

I haven't sold anything on feebay in years. Sooner or later they will run out of places to search for new clients, then feebay will turn it's attention to all of the users they have flippantly alienated. Ha, good luck.

Then you should stop listing or your fees are going to be a killer.

I haven't listed auctions in several months and try to never list things that are personal (the kids old clothes, etc.) under my selling name but I couldn't pass up the $0.05 day. I have 15 auctions listed with 8 of them having bids. One item has 18 bids!

I stopped listing auctions because I felt like I was donating my merchandise for the sake of store advertising but this week seems to be shaping up nicely.

Let's see how many pay...
