People are getting nasty on ebay. I have an antique oyster plate listed. I mentioned a black mark and listed before adding the photo of the mark. Someone emailed asking for a photo. I sent an email with attached photo. This person has emailed again and is being rude about it. The email starts with SECOND REQUEST, can we see the photo? I've sent a second email with attached photo. Any ideas to prepare for a third Rude email?
Thanks!

Block him if you're not comfortable with his attitude.

Max...You took the words right out of my mouth. If he's this big a jerk now, just imagine what he'll be like after the auction if he's the high bidder.

Post the photo to the auction?? That should shut him up.

How do I post the picture to the listing? I tried to do that and couldn't figure it out.

1) Does it have bids on it yet?
2) Do you use VD or Ebay to host your pics?

Yes, there are bids. I use Vendio for pics.

When people get rude while bidding, I would cancel their bid(s) and block them. I won't deal with rudeness from someone who isn't even a customer yet, I would just rather not deal with them. I am amazed at how many people swear in their questions, like I am going to answer that. That is the path to an automatic block. I had someone a while back swear at me because something they got did not work. I told them to resend the message without the swearing and I would try to resolve the problem, otherwise I would not deal with it. They complied.

ebayvet, that was my first reaction, too. How do you block bidders? This person has not bid yet. At least, I don't think so. The Id doesn't match any bidders.

Maybe that buyer is new to the internet world and doesn't know he needs to click on an attachment.

ewora's right - it's simple to add a pic to an auction, even with bids through Vendio.

You should be able to attach a picture the same as text after there is a bid. The easiest way is to go into image hosting and follow the directions for attaching an image to an existing auction. This will place the image at the very bottom of the listing. Or, if there are several pictures in the auction, and you can get along without one of them, delete that image from image hosting and substitute the new one using the EXACT same filename.
