you got it three - didn't think anyone would know what they are. I have 6 trees but only one produces, year after year. More to pick next week

You peel the hard shell off them and there is a fleshy fruit inside. there is also a pit.
Almost like a grape but sweeter. Some pits are small (they called "chicken tongues" and the others are larger. Course the smaller the pit, the more fruit you get.
