I bought this nice piece and after I got home I realized that it may be signed. In the middle of the bottom it looks like a g with an i through it but am not sure. I know there are several expert glass people on this board so thought maybe someone could help. Sorry about the picture but my camera is old and doesn't do too well. I hope I remember how to post pictures also..I am old and forgetful.

The mark on the bottom is Imperial Glass. It was used between 1951 and approx 1973. The handled nappy shown is pressed glass, probably made in the same mold as was used to make NuCut starting in 1914. These were made as a cheap alternative to cut glass.
