Niel...South Florida is under a tornado watch, and has been all day. They even had a twister or two around Sebring earlier today. There are a few counties under both tornado and hurricane watches right now. I bet a few 24 hour auctions for one way tickets from Florida to California could propell a person to Powerseller status overnight.

I hope glassgrl, Tom, Ralphie & all other members who live in Florida don't have another hurricane season like last year, but this early start doesn't look good.

You got that right Jane. They paid their dues last year, and it's time for the people in other areas to experience the pleasure? of a hurricane. It looks like this one could reach Cat1 when it hits land tomorrow afternoon. And Glassgrl is in the path. It is projected to hit between Mobile and Pensacola. The bad part is that most of the west coast of Florida is under a tornado watch until tomorrow. This storm is supposed to spin of some nasty tornadoes to it's east side.

morning everyone!

it's raining here and we were discussing buying a generator. they say it's going to be a busy season. we're not planning on going anywhere for this one, that's for sure. it will probably be bright and sunny tomorrow.

thanks for thinking of us! ltray and her DH came over for supper last night and we pigged out on grilled shrimp - she'd never had them before.

Just got back from yard saling. Sun was out but very humid. Didn't find much except for a cake stand. Looks like Miami got off light. Most of the rain was yesterday and all day.
Hope you all fair well up north of here.

Here's the Mobile, Al. radar view of the storm. At this time, the center is a few miles northwest of Pensacola.
