Measures 7-1/2" across and kind of like jadite on the rim and green glass in the center. Has 3 feet. Would appreciate any input as to the maker

I have a set of 4 pattern identification books by Florence. I highly recommend them to anyone who sells glass. They are probably the best guides Gene Florence has ever done. The pictures are clear, the descriptions are very brief, and no wasted print on outdated values.
Luckily your piece was in the first volume I looked at.

I have one of his books "Pocket Guide to Depression Glass & More" but didn't see it in there. Any idea what I should ask for it??
Rite Estate Sale Stuff, I will do that and drop the jadite, Carnival bit.

The name of the series is Florence's Glassware Pattern Identification Guide I order all my books thru Collector Books in Paducah, Ky. If you order 6 or more books, you get 40% off retail. I usually wait till friends need a book, and get mine at wholesale too. http://www.collectorbooks.com/
I have no idea of the value of your piece, but I'd start it at around $30.00 if I were eBaying it. In a mall I'd price it at $45.00 and hope I wasn't giving it away.

Thanks for the link Max. I have one in that series (as well as some of his depression glass guides) and it's great but think I will get more.

Good investment. You will be getting monthly catalogs now that you are a customer. In the back of the catalog are usually listed some overstock and discontinued/scuffed copies. Great prices on books that can be used for reference and identification.
