I picked up a folder dated 1962 with prints of all of tge Acadamy awrd winners from 1928 to h1960. These were done by Nicholas Volpe, a famous Hollywood artist. They were done in charcoal & are really beautiful. I can't figure where to list them. Someone help me out please.

It sounds like something you may consider double listing? Maybe Movie Collectibles and Art. Or if you plan to list them separately - do some in Art and some in Collectibles. Art is a pretty much a dead zone IMHO but these could do very well in either.

Definitely list it in 2 categories, make sure to include Academy Awards Original Charcoal Sketch / Drawings - Listed Artist -in the title. This is an instance where you may want to use a subtitle as well. Something as unique as these can really go far if you can get the traffic going. I recommend using Entertainment Memorabilia > Movie Memorabilia and Art > Drawings...

I tend to agree with Sparx on this one. I would contact a Academy historian and see if these were comissioned drawings and what they can tell you about them and move from there but I have a feeling that an auction house is going to be more lucrative for you.

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...
