So in the spirit of being the birthday girl I have decided to have a party with my Vendio friends. I do have a bartender in the corner mixing drinks and please feel free to enjoy a piece of cake.

Happy Birthday, Diane! Wish I had some of the fancy sparkly graphics and things like that to include here. Could use a nice stiff drink right about now from your bartender - as I listen to the relentless drone of the Pepsi 400 in the background...400 laps and just started at 10:40 p.m...if my ears are lucky, it'll end by about 3:00 a.m. How did I end up with a Nascar aficionado for a spouse?!!! (I hate "noise pollution."

anyway, have a good one!

Thank you, Vintage. I am very fortunate right now! The little one is fast asleep and the SO is now in bed. I finally get a little peace and quiet which is all that I wanted for my birthday.

I want that piece of the cake with the decorations on it

It's 10:45pm - anybody want to come help me finish hanging the wallpaper in the guest bathroom? The guests are due to arrive at noon tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Biz!

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

And do you have some of those little rolled up tortillas with the cheese and other good stuff in them? If so, count me in.

Happy birthday

i'm certainly impressed with your graphics, fenix!

snuck into the living room, where the stereo that's hooked up to the tv was blasting away with the drone of the race...the freakin' thing's so loud the floor vibrates in there. spouse sound asleep on the sofa...how can anyone sleep through that?!!! my fatal mistake was turning the sound way down. he woke up instantly...

and to think that nascar season is only about half over...rolling eyeballs heavenwards. need some more of diane's booze.

UNBELIEVABLE!!
Same thing going on here!!
At my house "watching nascar" means --

Turning on the TV so loud it can be heard at the street

Hogging the sofa

Telling everyone to "BE QUIET I'M TRYING TO WATCH THE RACE"

Promply falling asleep at about the third lap

Snoring LOUD AS HELL!!

But, turn the damn thing down and you have commited the ultimate sin!!

Hey bizzy! Happy Birthday

to BOTH of us!!! ... my b-day was yesterday too! ... celebrated all day and nite long ... 52 candles ...

my goal for my birthday was to try and do a cartwheel ... used to do them all the time ... hadn't done one in maybe 10 years ...

well, I did it! the first two times, I'll admit, I wrenched my lower back a bit ... not a good thing. But did a few more stretches and tried again; ended up doing maybe 10 cartwheels yesterday altogether LOL ... was out at the Cuyahoga Valley Natl. Park; big grassy field to cushion my potential fall. lol ... ended up at restaurant in the Valley (hey cheryl, across from Fisher's Pub, we went to the Winking Lizard... yum, great food) ... some of the patrons there heard about my cartwheels and tried to cheer/chant me on to do a cartwheel in the restaurant!... too many beers by then, so 'no way'. I'm older AND wiser.

Edited to add: And to you, too, Marcia! Go have a great meal at Fisher's for me!! I miss the joint.

inre my 52 Candles Day.

Well, dare I laugh at myself for posting pictures of my antics?! ...

yeppers!!! LOL ... if I can't
laugh at myself, then I can't laugh
at anybody else.

What a birthday DORK I am!!!

Here's the forward kinetic energy
and momentum going in to "the cartwheel"
I was completely sober, although I
probably was walking like this
by nightfall. LOL

Lord forgive me: Here is where the
MAJOR DORK part comes into play ...
ROFL!
I tell ya, I feel WAY MORE than
one year older today ....

arghhhh!

ummgphh!

oucchhh! ...

... and to redeem myself just a little,
here is what I look like when I'm tryingto be a normal person:

... only the good die young.

Great pics Marcia! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are very brave - I have 2 years on you but I can tell you that it's been more than 2 years since last I turned a cartwheel! If you can still walk today count yourself lucky!

LOL... thanks people ... I am very brave or very stupid ... like I said, I wrenched my lower back on the 1st 2 cartwheels, and that was a picture of my 2nd cartwheel,... I like to think that my next 8 cartwheels looked a heckuva lot better than ^ that one! LOL.

Happy Birthday Diane and Marcia!

Went to a friend's bar after the fireworks last night and tried something new....

One shot glass: half Frangelico and half Vanilla Schnapps (?)

Take one lemon wedge with a sugar packet poured over it....

Suck the lemon wedge and down the shot....

Tastes just like Chocolate Cake!

(I thought they were pulling my leg! )
