yeah, you might enjoy this story, jack. this guy made it to my bbl without ever buying a thing from me...

wrote me late last saturday night, maybe he was bored. the "ask a seller a question" route. said he would love to buy a certain real-photo postcard but he thought $15 was too much for it. i was secretly thinking "and so? what's your point?" but politely wrote back saying the card is reasonably priced for a small town wisconsin/real photo of xyz factory that isn't there anymore. even explained why it was scarce, blah, blah.

i figured that was that but noooooo...5 minutes later, i get another "ask a seller a question" e'mail. same guy, this time the question's on a south carolina card...his "question" is: "How come you don't have your postcards for auction & bidding? What's up with only the buy it now price?! Geez, get with the ebay 'auction' program.

my response, as i wanted to nip this one in the bud: "enough with the critiques already. you run your business your way and i'll run my business my way. my way now includes placing you on my blocked bidder list, so that we'll not do business at all...i don't need it. also, any further questions, comments, e'mails, etc. will now be construed as harrassing communications and reported to ebay as such. happy now? get a life."

my buyers are, for the most part, great, but he can find someone else to ask questions of every 5 minutes. normally, people don't make it to my bbl without being a deadbeat, etc., but i made an exception in this case

Vintage...Yeah, that guy was a real pain in the butt. He asked me a couple of dumb questions also. Now you know why I gave him a link to your store and blocked him.

I recently bought some widgets from the UK. The guy mails me someone else's widgets, and send my widgets to someone else. He asks me to write "return to sender" on the envelope so I can mail back the package at no cost. Only problem is that he didn't write his address on the package and didn't use a custom form...
