Can an auction on Ebay with a bid (a seven day auction) be extended to ten days before it ends? Thanks for any help!

No. If there is a bid, you cannot extend the auction. There are only a couple minor changes that can be made on an auction with a bid. I once had an auction that I omitted some important information from the description. Since it had a bid, I emailed the bidder and advised him that I was going to cancel his bid so I could revise the description. After I cancelled his bid, it still wouldn't let me revise. I had to end the auction and relist with the revised description.
