I have been getting messages for a few days from my UK buyers saying that they have been unable to make payment and today had a payment come in in Euros (which I do not have my account set up to automatically accept) and the only thing the site would let me do was Deny the payment. If I tried to convert and accept or even see what the payment was for I got there "technical difficulties" issue. Am I the only one experiencing this?

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

Looks like my PP account accepted a payment from Switzerland this am in USD. Does this have something to do with your post here about converting your pounds to $ (after London attack) ? Did you change some settings?

Fenix03, for the past 4 days I have a buyer in Portugal trying to make PP payment. The buyer is getting technical difficulty notices with the site alternated with notices that it is my PayPal account that is in error.

The buyer is trying to make payment at least once a day and sends me the notices received. I don't know what's up with the international side of PayPal.

Chimp - sounds like the same problem I am having - I am waiting on 42 payments right now from the UK which is far in excess of the norm. I have sent PayPal Payment requests to the ones that have notified me of the problem (10 this morning). I'll let you know if this helps bypass the issue. Maybe you can use it with your Portugal buyer.

Neglus - no settings changed, that was simply a matter of transfering existing balances from GBP to USD. I do that about once a week (usually when the exchange rates are most favorable). This one is wierd. My US customers are not having problems paying but the UK customers are having bunches of issues now.

Thanks Fenix03, I would appreciate knowing if it helps with your UK buyers.

I did send a direct payment request from PayPal to the Portugal buyer with no success. They received the same error messages when using the PayPal invoice as when going through eBay payment process. That makes it a PayPal glitch.

I am thinking of calling PayPal on Monday to see what the problem is with their international payments. I don't know if I can get any information but it sure would be nice to know an anticipated correction date to the problem.

If I find out anything I will post it here.

Mine are having the same problem Chimp. Right now I have over $1000 in sales that I cannot collect on because of this - hopefully they'll get this one in gear quick since the longer these people have to wait, the less likely that are to pay.
