Has anyone else found that they are dealing with idiots when it comes to customer service at Ebay.....probably worst or tied with Paypal for the worst! Their robotic answers that make no sense to the question asked and their form that does not enable you to accurately describe your question doesn't help the fact, and top that off with 3 day delays and just plain stupid reps. What are we paying all these fees for?

I have to admit that I don't even ask questions anymore. I got answers to questions I didn't even ask, and found it impossible to get a sensible reply. I get far more help on this board.

Where are our fees going? Do mean besides in Meg's cheesy pocketbook? Why, it's going to Apu Nahasapeemapetilon in India (and also owner of Kwick-E-Mart) to answer your questions! This also includes a 10-page MANUAL, intended to answer all of your questions!

I have been an ebay seller since 1997 and in that time have received help, REAL honest to God help, once... the rest of the time ...canned spam answers..... I agree with Amber I try here first some smart person always seems to have run into the problem before me and helps with a real life resolution. Ebay really does need to get serious about customer OOPS!!! COMMUNITY service!

I agree, but the recently added Power Seller Customer Support seems to be a slight improvement...I guess we get some benefits from being a Power Seller..Heck, at least we get a direct phone line and I have yet to experience a single delay with a return answers...The answers are still the same, but at least I don't have to wait as long! LOL

ebay's "live help" people i've found to be entirely clueless. but i did have occasion to call the 800 number they recently put in for store owners, and got actual real help.
