A few minutes ago I mistakingly launched an ebay item from Vendio that I wanted to schedule for later this evening in a better time slot...The question, if I cancel the auction now, do I still pay my insertion and other fees to ebay and vendio???...
Need to know for sure, I've seen answers posted here, and then somebody else comes and says no that's wrong later...I want to be sure here because of fees involved...Thanks sooooo much!

For those who might sometime have this problem...I found the answer on Ebay...Fees do still get charged...Looked to see if I could revise end time, nope doesn't look like it to me...Will just let item ride as is...

I've done it a few times. I usually cancel the auction and relist at a better time, figuring that the right end time trumps an additional fee. But, depending on the item, I can see a case for letting it ride.

If you launch, cancel and relist and item sells you aren't charged more listing fees as the listing fee (not gallery etc) is refunded.

I don't think there is anyway to get out of all the fees but you can reduce them to almost nothing.
Revise your item to lower the price to .01 - drop any reserves etc that you can drop.
Then end your auction and schedule for the time you want.
The only other thing to do is write ebay for a full refund. I had a friend who did that and got a refund. Believe it or not>

I've done that twice in 6 years, and both times the item actually sold, and it sold for at least as much as I expected it to sell. I'd just let it ride. Worst case is that it doesn't sell and you have to relist, which you'd have to do now anyway if you want to change the time. Go ahead, take a chance--if it isn't a high-ticket item--in which case I'd cancel and relist.

If you want to delete it, go ahead & do it. You will still pau=y the listing fees.. Have done this many time4s myself
DUH, just revise the auction to offer a different item. You can also adjust the price any way you wish. If you go to the next price structure up, you will be charged the difference, and in turn, if you go to the next lower price structure, you will be refunded the difference on the spot. Why waist that listing fee on a mistake. If you cancel the auction, it is gone. You might as well try and get a sale on something.
