A long-time customer of mine bought two items in November and paid by check, as is her wont. The items never made it to her. Since she didn't use PayPal, the remedies available to her were to bug me by email and to file a non-receipt claim with eBay.
I got tired of the whole mess (even though she hadn't paid for insurance on either package) and issued a courtesy refund. Then I blocked her from bidding. Hated to do it, but I don't need this nonsense.
Tonight I get a PayPal payment from her for one of the items, which just made it to her doorstep today. It must have been carried by ants the whole way.
At least she was honest enough to do 1/2 of the right thing.

112 day's! What planet does she live on, Mars? Gives new meaning to the phrase "snail mail" doesn't it. It's nice that she was honest enough to return the payment for the item to you. You mentioned 1/2 the right thing though, I assume she only paid for 1 of 2 items. Did the items ship separately or together. I'm just wondering if the other item has not shown up yet, it's still on the snail mail ship to nowhere.
