I am trying to put a banner with a link in my Customer Manager preferences on Vendio. When I put the HTML code in (I have the preferences set on HTML) all I get is the code itself. There is supposed to be a banner showing but it doesn't show. I uploaded the banner image into Image Hosting but I still only get the HTML code.

I copied and pasted the code as I was instructed to do but I cannot get it to show anything but the HTML. I have even tried it on another email account and in my Geocities with no luck. Other people that are in this company like I am have their banners showing. Here is the HTML code:

Computer geniuses and the like, please help!!!!

Thanks,
Jamie

I see your banner just fine!
And it's also clickable here.
Doesn't appear you have any problem.

Figures, I work for hours on the other emails and sites and it works here but not there. Maybe the other sites just don't like me.

I didn't think it would work here. I'm happy I got it to work on something.

At least it works here and I know I am doing everything just as I was told to do. I'll fight with the other sites and just maybe I'll get lucky.

It's my Vendio Customer Manager email I am trying to put it on and it's just not cooperating with me.

just a guess, but does your HTML start with [ (square brackets) or < (angle brackets) ?

The square-brackets version is for chat boards like here, but regular web pages or email require the angle-brackets version.

Gaug--Never thought of that. I tried that and it did change but now it only shows a spot where an image should be and I now can't figure out why it doesn't want to show the image. I am going to try the same technique on my other email account and see if I have better luck with that one. Thank you for the suggestion.

See, I knew you guys were whizzes!!!
