They must have been busy with all of the problems at Ebay last week...I wonder when they had the time to decide that the item pages needed to be changed? The item pages aren't easy enough to figure out? Did people complain that they didn't know what they were bidding on? Come on Ebay. Maybe people complained about too large of font and the techs decided to give extra small font a trial run last week? Good grief.

Yeah and wait until they roll out Ebay Express, I fore see auctions going down even more in sell through. Looks like they want everything fixed price to me. Think I'll take advantage of the 10 cent day just to relist some unsold stuff and hope at least one sells to pay those 10 cent fees. LOL

I DON'T like it! New auction page
More links for the buyer to click on, get lost and not be able to find my auction again. What the heck are they thinking???
More crap for the buyer to look at before they can even see what is for sale.
Why not an auction page with all that info at the bottom?
How about an auction page with Item price, then picture, then description , then ebay's fantastic new information header. At least then the buyer would have a chance to see what they are bidding on before being confused with too much info.

Way too long before getting to actual auction. Return policy do we need to set this up in ebay??? I have it set in Vendio. Anyone know if we have to set that up now too. They are trying to make it so everyone won't need another place for listing through, I think.
Going to confuse everyone again!
When does this take effect? or has it already?

The brilliant engineers that are coming up with all these enhancments are starting to show signs of stress in their quest for excellence. I feel they need a little time for R&R away from Ebay. Meg should do the decent thing and pay for three weeks vacation for them on the beach with ocean view cabanas. In Key West Florida. At the peak of the hurricane season.

sparkz - When I was reading your post I was thinking to myself "some one slap him". Then I got to the last sentence. My thought's exactly. It's a shame she didn't send them last year. To New Orleans.

"we have found the need to organize some of the information at the top of the item page a little better"
In other words, the need wasn't there; they had to search Noah's Bagels, Starbucks and finally they found the need across the street at Whole Foods, shopping for Asian pears.
The need spotted them and took off running, only to brought down by a bright-eyed young programmer driving a new Stupiditi.

I agree with the rest of you... not a good look, and definately not necessary. Why does eBay constantly feel they have a need to fix things that aren't broken... and break things that are fixed?
The worst thing about this new layout is the "listing and payment details" section. Did you notice that it will by DEFAULT be HIDDEN?!?! Just great... as if I don't have enough people asking what kind of payments I take. I'm assuming that they'll get rid of the payments accepted section that is currently at the bottom of the listing.

Who are these buyers they keep referring to and where did they find them? I'd like to see the actual research data. Every single "enhancement" they've burdened the sellers with lately has been based on the opinions of these so-called buyers.
The average attention span is not that long and buyers are going to be tuning out and exhausted before they even get to the "meat" of the listing with this new layout.
I guess the next step will be one line descriptions so these poor illiterate, lazy buyers won't have to even lift a finger to scroll down the page. After all, why bother reading a detailed description...if you don't like it you can always file with PayPal and get your money back.
