Hi I need some jewelry experts help with this piece it appears to be a hand made pin in the Cloisonne style, but it looks like beads were cut up and used....there is a small partial stamp on the back but I can't make it out. Measures about 1 5/8" wide x 5/16" thick. Any help would be appreciated..

I believe it is what's called a micromosaic piece. Tiny colorful shards/pieces of glass arranged in mosaic form to make up the design. Possibly Czech but more than likely Italian. What a pretty pin!

Should say Italy on the back althought the Japanese were known to copy these mosaics but they did not mark them. Made from little pieces of glass in typical Italian Mosaic style. They also made bracelets, photo frames .

Can you get a closer shot of the mark on the back?

Good morning everyone, thanks for the help, I do believe the partial mark on the back is from Italy (part of a triangle with letters inside and "TY" underneath). I have been educated on Italian mosiac

Earlier, I sold an old compact with this type of design.

It didn't go for alot, but it did well....

I have 2 very similiar pins that I purchased in Italy from a street vendor at the Spanish steps 35 years ago. I didn't pay more than a couple of dollars for them, and I have no idea what they would be worth today.
