Maybe a shill bidder but if so the seller would get narued too. hummmm weird.
How ya like my new mascot Lt ray. He is in colors commemorating this week. Made him up special --no offence to Ralphie but replacing him just for a day or so then Ralphie can have the honor back.

Ten bucks says it was a Nigerian (or elsewhere) scammer.
I have to admit, as slow and pokey as eBay can be about so many things, they DO work pretty darn fast to NARU anyone who sends a post-BIN "I'm sending a money order for twice as much, please refund the rest in cash" emails. They have to be reported, of course, but once they are...poof!

I had one like that a couple of weeks ago. Sold two items to an Australian bidder, under $10 so I didn't mind taking Paypal. She paid right away, and I mailed. Next day I noticed she was NARU, she had 0 feedback, so I am wondering if there is going to be a problem.

amber that is strange, pay real quick then be unregistered so quick. Did you look at her bid history to see if she was bidding on excessive number of items. OR she may have registered then unregistered herself for some reason.

Mascot for a week.

I had a bidder like that a month or so ago. Won, did the checkout and said he'd mail a MO, NARU the next day.
I emailed him and he said he'd be kicked off about six months earlier (didn't say why), had re-registered, won my auction, got caught under the new registration, and NARU'ed again.
Anyway he sent the MO and I sent him his stuff. Don't know what happened to him after that.
