I send out WBN from Vendio and if not heard from my buyers then send out an ebay invoice. Instructions state to please reply to confirm their bid and how they plan to pay etc very nicely so I at least hear from them in a timely manner.
Well just now I get an email in reply to my WBN. Sent out on Sunday night. ALL the email says is -- get this--
yes i confirm.
that was it. Glad I only have one item I am waiting on for payment. Don't ya just hate getting no information emails from your buyers? But am glad they at least bothered to send that I think cause some just don't ever answer and if you get payment some time down the line I guess we are lucky. It is like we need chrystal balls to know what to do next.

When buying I used to get these anxious post-auction emails all the time. Since I hate sending or replying to email, I just made the payment as I normally would.
Meantime, the level of escalation on the other end was truly astounding sometimes. People working themselves into a froth over not having heard from me about my $10 purchase.
My confirmation is my payment. I'm sure lots of other buyers operate the same way.

I too hate email and the task of looking through all the "I will be sending payment.." and "I have sent payment.." emails is often more than I can bear. I just hit delete right down the row.

I agree with everyone else. I never "e-mail within 3 days of the auction close" blah blah blah. I just send them my payment. As a seller, I don't bother with it either. I just invoice them. I don't have the time to go through all of those e-mails either.
