Here is another one that may be useful. A bit difficult to navigate, but worth a look. Lots of information on Stoke-on-Trent, England pottery.

Kovels has a good book on pottery/porcelain marks. If all else fails, check your library.

Thanks all for your help... turned out I was out of my mind!!!! again. It is an early piece of Sevres. I knew that but was temporally brain dead!

Of course I'm sure you know that Sevres is one of the most faked marks out there?
