I realize that what I am asking will not have a specific answer but I wonder if there are some general guidelines. Ceramic figures that are marked "Japan" usually seem to me to date from the 1950s or earlier. Just about any figure marked "China" I either know or assume to be recent. My question is about ceramic figures marked "Taiwan". Is there a likely period when collectible ceramic figures were made in Taiwan. I am listing some figures that I know are not brand new since I have had them for some time but would like to give an estimate within a decade or two as to age. I am thinking 1970s/80s. Does that seem reasonable?
Thanks for any guidance.

Some figurines that were made in Japan were produced in the early 1960's but like everything else, Japanese stuff got to be too expensive ( wages and standard of living) so companies turned to Taiwan for ceramics - probably in the 70's which continued into the 1980's - early 90's also. From then on, China produced everything cheaper.
