Hmmm. Appears the counts for those two days are busted or something. I can see the 21st only. I note that the counts went down to 10,000 (or whatever they call that number) on the 21st. Is Meg sleeping well?

Counts might be down on the 23rd because people are waiting to launch on the 24th. Or they may be 'tweaking' the way counts show up for some reason.

Counts may be down because of the lower credit limit.

No memo - eBay lowered credit limit from $500 to secret amount ($200) for folks who don't have credit card on file this week. Prevented many people from listing. See unable to list thread.

If you mean May 22/23, it could just be that a lot of people don't want auctions ending on the holiday (Memorial Day) weekend.

Just looked at powersellersunite -- the medved site doesn't seem to be working for me -- and eBay counts are marinating at 11.3 million. No jumps this morning.

Here's a link. I do think Meg should be worried.

I wonder how many people will list for the 20 cent listing day today. Last one I listed 35 items, and only 5 sold, and most of those at opening bid, it's just not worth it for me at this time of year.

Looks like many veterans of Ebay are skipping it. The auction counts are up only 600,000 so far. Usually by now, they are up by 3 million going into the evening.
There should be a spike in the evening when many people get off of work, but it will not catch the numbers the special days normally do.

I am not listing. Maybe if they had done a 10 cent listing, but typically, I barely cover my fees and item costs on these days, because I have so many that go without bids or only 1 bid.

Only 4 million added for the day. That's way down from what they normally have.
Maybe people are finally giving eBay the brush off. I only listed 5 items myself.
Down from the normal 300 or so.
