Hi, all: I bought a LOT of Christmas cards from famous people, from a Hollywood photographer's estate. I have two guesses as to who signed this card and won't divulge them until I hear what you smart folks think.

Nicholas (Nicky) Brodszky
wrote the words to that great mario lanza tune: Be My LOVE
Here are the words:
Be my love
For no one else can end this yearning
This need that you and you alone create
Just fill my arms
The way you've filled my dreams
The dreams that you inspire
With every sweet desire
Be my love
And with your kisses set me burning
One kiss is all I need to seal my fate
And hand in hand
We'll find love's promised land
There'll be no one but you for me
Eternally
If you will be my love

I sang that song and others at a High School Dance. Wow, that sure brings back memories. In those days, I was always looking to set somone burning with desire from one of my kisses. Not much luck.

You. Guys. Are. Terrific!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Vintage. I was first guessing Mickey Rooney. Then Vicky Brodkey or some such, but no luck matching signatures, etc.
This batch of Christmas cards is quite a treasure. I'll be listing one from Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis which includes a hanging paper "ornament" with their faces. I'm trying out just a couple to see how they fly, before I invest a lot of time and energy in the rest. They're all from the mid-1900s.
I appreciate everyone's help here.

P.S. I too remember that song, and how popular it was. As a singer, I was never comfortable with how Lanza hit the "love" note; he sort of slid up into it and made musicians like me fearful that he wasn't going to quite hit the note dead-on.
