I had an auction up for some southwest airlines gift certificates. No sale on first week at fixed price, so I relisted as an auction with a bin price also. It wasn't supposed to end until the 22nd, but it has been closed and not by me. I have had a "stalker" offering me a much lower price several times. I answered the first couple then ignored them after that. If Ebay ended my auction, would I be notified? I can't imagine for what reason this "stalker" could have reported the auction, other than I wouldn't accept their unreasonable offer.

Yes, you should receive an email explaining why the listing was ended.

Are you sure the certificate is transferable?

"Individuals: Individual travelers who are not in the business of selling travel services, but simply wish to sell an unused air or sea related travel voucher or gift certificate, may do so no more than one trip per month provided that the item is not a travel club membership or "choice travel certificate," (see below) or related item. In such instances, the seller may play no role in arranging any travel other than delivering the item. Please note that many airline tickets, vouchers, and frequent flier miles are not transferable, and sellers should review any travel related item before listing to make sure that it can be transferred legally to another party and will be accepted by the issuing provider of travel services."

Certificates as in more than one may be the problem.

If you don't hear from eBay soon, try [email protected].

Thanks, I will hopefully recieve something from Ebay. I was actually selling a group of 12-$50 certificates worth $600. I showed a picture of all of them. I did check that they were transferable prior to listing. Dang, I really need this money!

Why not list it as a $600 dollar travel certificate? I'd suggest you confirm they are stackable, and if possible ask for a replacement 1 x $600 or 2 x $300 certs for your 12 x $50 certs.

Alternately sell them under separate eBay seller's IDs, making sure not to accept PayPal as that can cause 'linkage' (which is traceable by eBay). You could accept payment via your merchant account. Amazon and craigslist are other alternative outlets.
