I decided to open a second vendio account in order to seperate two types of products. When I opened the new account I was given no options for SMPro or to use SMPro launcher... No options to access the Community/Message Center, no vendio search options, the entire set up process is completely different, and the layout is also nothing like the one I have now. The help links provide nothing, and I have to sign out and use this account to access the message center. Everything I see with the new account uses Andale rather than Vendio.

Anyone know what is going on? You would think everything would be the same.

hi, i did the same thing and when i couldn't use the new, and i think crummy, format, i went back to this account and did the contact us thing with a strongly worded opinion of their new development.. i was truly surprised when vendio CALLED ME AT HOME about 3 days later and walked me through some kind of set up that let me access the same format that i have now.. the service guy had to do stuff from his end so there is not much you can do with out getting in touch with them and trying to get them to sort it out.. i was really impressed that they went to that length to help get things sorted out though..

best of luck

I posted my problem on the SMPro thread, and it has been 38 hours with no reply. I'm getting quite frustrated as I need to get things set up and launch auctions. Time is money, and money is being wasted. Ugh!

I should mention... I signed up through Vendio, not Andale. Vendio is the one who set this up through Andale, not me.

You know if you go into your ebay account information you can change your user name there and launch to your other I.D. with the same Vendio account.

Both accounts will show up on your selling/closing pages though.

Just close your auctions for each I.D. at different times so they start and end in blocks. If you are using BIN items or Store items this probably wouldn't work.

I haven't used Vendio in a couple of years I and didn't use the SMPro just the regular Sales Manager Page.

Are you just posting or are you also emailing?

I've emailed Vendio a couple of times and they were quick to respond and very helpful.

Do you mean "go into your ebay account information" with Vendio? I'm not following what you mean.

Update... My experience is completely different than Mizpeppertree...

Vendio has yet to resolve this matter. I have emailed them twice this week, I have called and left a message, and no replies.

Their only solution was via SMPro thread telling me to close my account and open another account (with a different name, which matched my other name) using a link they sent me.

One problem though... they don't send any instructions to close your account. There are no obvious links anywhere on Vendio's website to close the account, etc. I had to go back to the SMPro thread to ask and wait again... for them to tell me I have to email them to request closing the account... which I did yesterday morning and as of today, nothing has happened.

I have missed a full week of listing auctions, and getting set up all because I registered directly from Vendio's website for a new account, and Vendio instead registered me under the Andale account.

I have never had such a frustrating experience with Vendio's Customer Service. I'm on the verge of cancelling both accounts and going to Auctiva or somewhere else.

Hello,

We did get your email requesting to close your other account in the AM of 3/30, and the request is being finalized. The account is already closed as of yesterday morning when we first received your request to do so, and the billing team is taking care of the refund now for the charges on the account. (for which you will receive a confirmation)

Did you want to just reactivate your existing second Vendio account 'rustygumbo' - or were you going to start a brand new one instead?

If your starting a brand new one, use the directions posted on 3/26 explaining how to get the account in the style you want - something you can do anytime, you do not have to wait for your other account to be closed (even though it already is, just pending the due refund) so you can get started.

To recap, the directions for getting another account in the classic Vendio style are as follows:
When you register your new account, use THIS link to register it. Don't select any other services, just get the account setup with a new username. Once you have the account setup, you can add the services/tools you need and you will have the classic Vendio tools like you do now.

As for how to cancel a Vendio account. A quick search on our help page for the word 'cancel' brings up the following document:
http://www.vendiosupport.com/activekb/questions/132/

Alternately you could use the 'Customer Service' link where you email a question, and select the preformatted subject of 'Account Cancellation.' (or 'billing' or anything else would work, as long as you just indicate that you want to close it and included your username.)

Regards,
Christopher

Great, one problem though... I went to sign up for a new account using a new account name... and now it won't accept my email address as it is currently registered to another user... sputco. I imagine the same thing will also happen when I attempt to register my credit card, and any other information.

I cannot change my email address, so something needs to happen on your end to resolve these problems and it should be done quickly instead of making me wait and wait and wait for a response and when it arrives it doesn't help the situation.

I have surpassed a week now of trying to resolve this problem, I think enough is enough. I have brought alot of money to Vendio and expect some better service and quicker responses. A phone call would be ideal.

Hi,

We have cleared your email address so you can use it in your new account. Sorry you didn't have another to use in a temporary fashion while getting the new account setup.

You can use the same credit card, no issues there. Once you register the new account, we will move your eBay ID from your sputco account to whatever your new name ends up being manually, as when you try to store your eBay ID in the sputco account into the new one currently you will get an error message.

Once you have your new name registered let us know, either in one of the two different threads you have open, email using the customer service link, or if you have live support on your account you could also use the chat or phone request system.

Regards,
Christopher
