I think someone else here was having the same problem.
I'm not getting them on one of my ID's. This makes it kind of hard to keep those DSR's up.

This has been going on for a while. I had the problems a few weeks ago, in the last week I seem to have got them all, but then, not much has sold, so there haven't been too many.

Yep, here too. Once in a while. Just often enough that I'm forced to check PayPal more frequently than I'd like.

I know they did scheduled maintenance on Paypal last night, not sure if that would affect it though.

ladyjewels....

FOUND A GREAT SOLUTION;

For EVERY one that PAYPAL FAILS to send notice, I am sending PAYPAL a BIG FAT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. Here is how you do it.

Pull up the actual payment, located at the bottom right(tiny print) - SITE FEEDBACK(+ or -). Lets see how their CUSTOMER SERVICE grade is after several of these.

rhpepsi - good idea - I think I will do just that.
It's getting worst instead of better.
Got 2 payment notices on Friday and then 2 more for the same payment on Sat.
Then I got 3 more payments but no notices on Sat.
I got a notice from ebay stating that my account was over due and my CC declined(this is my paypal CC). My ebay balance was -35 cents as I had already paid them and I had a balance of over $1100 in paypal. The ebay alert went away pretty fast but is that going to lower me in searchs. This is just getting crazy ebay & paypal?????

ladyjewels.....

just checked my emails...guess what.

The one paypal payment that I gave negative site feedback to...came across today

email is dated one day later then payment..someone is trying to cover their a$$es. I have noticed that a larger percent of the "missing" notices are on the HIGHER priced items

wondering if it continues - if it warrants contact with the BBB. We are PAYING for a service which INCLUDES these notifications.

My notices are sporadic, also. Before I knew of this problem, I was about to start an non-payment dispute starting with an email and guess what, when I pulled up the auction it said the item had been paid via PayPal 7 days ago!!

Now, since I am aware of the ON-GOING problem I check each auction. Why should I have to do this!!?? Today half notices, half not. Same as yesterday.

I did take the advice and am leaving the feedback on every payment without notices.

That's interesting.

Please provide a citation to the section of the PayPal User Agreement that guarantees you will receive email notifications of payments.

Hint: There is no such guarantee.

fluff...

change PAYING to FREE...

This is a FREE service that is suppost to be provided when I signed up for their program.

Notifications You Receive About Payments
You can be notified of payments in four ways: email, transaction history, downloadable history
log, and Instant Payment Notification (IPN).
Email
You receive email notification when:
---> a successful payment is made.

Which is listed;

PAYPAL --- Website Payments Standard Integration Guide --- March 2008 -- Page 19

As for their USER AGREEMENT...I do not have an ORIGINAL.. but my guess is that AND/OR was probably ADDED recently to this paragraph.

4.4 Payment Review. Payment Review is a process by which PayPal reviews certain potentially high-risk transactions. If a payment is subject to Payment Review, PayPal will place a hold on the payment and provide notice to the seller to delay shipping the item. PayPal will conduct a review and either clear or reverse the payment. If the payment is cleared, PayPal will provide notice to the seller to ship the item. Otherwise, PayPal will reverse the payment and the funds will be returned to the buyer. All payments that clear Payment Review will be Seller Protection Policy eligible if they meet the Seller Protection Policy requirements. PayPal will provide notices to you by email ******and/or****** in the Transaction History tab of your PayPal account.

The User Agreement is your contract with PayPal. It governs your business relationship with that entity. It has legal standing.
