My listings say US only, shipipng is listed for US only (with maybe the exception of a couple I specifically changed). So how have I gotten buy it nows from Canada, Netherlands, Ireland and more in the last two weeks? I actually am ok with sending them, I am NOT ok when they pay using the $5.95 US shipping amount! Then they seem surprised when I refund their money and send them a new invoice with the correct international shipping amount. And then of course, there is the ever so popluar request for no amount to be listed anywhere so they don't have to pay the 32% tax. Ugh!

Simply state that you only ship to the U.S. in the item descriptions.

And, if you have a Shipping Policy, simply state that Federal Law requires you to put the value of the item on the Declaration Forms (but that is only if you want to ship globally).

It is your business ...

Takes more than stating in your auctions that you don't take foreign bids.
You have to set up your eBay preferences to reflect it.
Go to your selling related links page, Block or pre-approve bidders, Buyer Blocks,
Buyers in countries to which I don't ship
Block buyers who are registered in countries to which I don't ship.
This requirement can help you avoid buyers who agree to purchase your items without realizing you don't ship to their location.

It still should be stated in your item description, policies, terms, TOS, or whatever you want to name them. For some reason, there is always a reluctance to place information into the item description. And then ...

An extra precaution to take is block international bidders in your PayPal account as well.
I stopped selling internationally months ago, probably make less money, but the peace of mind more than makes up for it.

You can always take out insurance if you are shipping overseas.
Make insurance mandatory .
