I've sold a book on Amazon to someone in Brazil. Book was paid through Amazon. I'd like to print a label in PayPal for this item, and I'm sure I've heard I can do that even if payment wasn't made through PayPal. Am I right or wrong?

I dont think you can,as I tried recently. I have to go to the USPS site to print the label.
May be someone can tell us otherwise.
BTW,are you shipping priority or express?

Thanks. I was sure I could do that, but I guess not.

I'm shipping flat-rate international priority.

The sale has to orginate at ebay. The customer does not have to pay by PayPal for you to be able to print labels with PP. All that is required is that the item be sold from ebay.

It can be from any site which accepts paypal.
look at your account and look for that particular transaction, you can just print the label.
Or a better way to say it -if your customer pays you thru paypal, you can print the label thru paypal.

To be more exact you can pay for a label and print it from paypal to anyone. I do it all the time. Send stuff to my sister, my friends etc.
Just use any payment that you didn't print a label for and edit the name & address to the name & address you want to ship an item to. The original payee may receive an email but you can always put a note in that they can disregard the paypal notice as it wasn't intended for them.

Thanks, ladyjewels! If I can find a buyer who's a good sport, I'll do that. Good idea, but I don't want to annoy or unduly scare someone when they get that PayPal notice in their e-mail.

Yes I'm very careful to pick a buyer that I know there could have been no problems with. The older the payment the better.

I just printed a label last week through paypal that didn't have anything to do with a paypal payment for my daughters huband to mail a dress to his mom. I went to Products & Services scrolled down to More products and services and clicked on MultiOrder Shipping . A box will pop up that has a couple of choices ,Click on Create New Orders , fill in the info and print the label. It was my first time but it worked and it took the money from my paypal account just like printing a eBay label.

How did you ever find that, Toasted?
