Although I have shipped all over the world in my 10 years of selling, the "new ebay" scares me. Also, considering that pay pal almost always sides with the buyer, I hesitate to sell anything real high end to an international buyer.
I use Vendio for all my listings. When I listed my item, I unchecked the box for worldwide sales and put into my description that I will not sell this item to an internation buyer. I have some Lladros listed and a buyer in England (with 100% feedback) is asking me to allow her to bid. I wrote her back saying that I would consider it, but that payment would have to be by bank transer or money order in US dollars. I'm waiting to hear from her as to whether she would accept those terms.
My question is......since I use Vendio to calculate my shipping, and since I did not indicate any international shipping choices, how do I revise my ad? I could go in and revise my ad using the ebay choices, but what will happen at the end of the auction when they check out? Will they be able to use Vendio checkout?
