Reported this yesterday and it seems like it has been happening to people off and on since May.

I can't revise any listing on eBay without being charged a re-list fee and then eBay posts a duplicate.

Good grief...still happening today.

SMPro batch edit isn't working and now this. I love being asked to do the impossible, so refresing.

I revised several items yesterday without being charged or having duplicates launch - as far as I can tell. Are the duplicates showing as "newly listed" in your store?

I am not be charged for my revisions. I feel I'm getting farther behind. I am going to skip the flea market for a couple of weeks to try to get caught up.

Neglus: The duplicate showed as newly listed and I was charged on My Account.

Live help refunded my 3 cents and acknowledged that this is an ongoing, intermittent problem.

The store boards indicate since May. Today and yesterday just happen to be my unlucky days. Perhaps it will go away soon.

Where do you see the charge - on your account or on the revised page?
I've done a few today and didn't see a charge as I went. I'll have to check for double posting.

It will be at the bottom of the submit page. I have been revising and it always says 0 for the charges until a couple of days ago and now it thinks the revise is a relist.

I checked my bill after it happened and I was charged and it did duplicate the listing.

It is one of the programming "flaws" that is in ebay's favor. ebay knows about it, but won't correct the problem. For every correction, you have to contact ebay, explain the problem, prove you are correct, and hope that ebay refunds the 3 cents. Millions of users times 3 cents per error is a lot of money.

I have had that problem for longer than May. Before you click submit, click on "My Ebay" and go back to the main item page and try again. This has worked for me in the past.

There is no "my ebay" to click on from the Submit page.

There is just an ebay link.

I have decided on not revising a damn thing. E-Bay can go straight to Hell and pull the listings or whatever.I'm going to post my new listings with the revisions and thats all. They refuse to fix this problem. I have contacted everybody but the guy that works on the plumming.

There is no "my ebay" to click on from the Submit page.

Then click the back button. The point is to start over.

I have punched every button on the computer, gussed, started over restarted the computer and I still get charged for ever revision I do. PS I would hate to be a plummer who was sent to E-Bay,the crap is so deep now,its the worlds largest sewage back up with no end in sight.

From my emailing the PS support:

Dear Beth,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to the site issue.

Recently our system accidentally applied a lower promotional rate to many items' insertion Fees. After your item was listed, the issue was corrected, and then you revised the item. Unfortunately revising it
caused our system to catch the discrepancy and charge the normal fees.

I apologize for the confusion and frustration with this issue, and would
be glad to issue a credit for your increased Insertion Fees. Please note that future items will not receive the promotional rate however, and revising any of your other items may cause their Insertion Fees to be
charged at the normal rate as well.

I hope this answers your question Beth!

For future reference, I'd like to tell you about eBay Live Help Customer Support. eBay Live Help gives you one-on-one contact with an eBay representative who can help resolve your issue on the spot -- live.

Live Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You mean ebay has Live help..well butter my behind and call me a biscuit! ya hear that Ma, ebay has live help...been here since '98 and never heard a durn thang about that!

JK of course, about the live help, but I don't think Kristin was. Obviously I started with Live Help who were, as usual, no help.
