Check out this photo. It is of the convention hall where ebay set up. Check out the fact that just about the only people you see are ebay employees.

Back to the drawing boards ebay! Sellers are leaving you in droves.

Why is Ebay charging for admission?
Ebay Trust and Safety is a pain in the ass and customer service is worthless.

What can people really learn by attending a show?
They are not going to tell you dont do this or dont do that or else we will suspend you or restrict your selling activities for x number of days;even if they do,a newbie is not going to be able to comprehend how he could go from A to Z and stumble on Q and contacting Ebay is a frustrating experience, getting your fund locked up at Paypal or fighting a chargeback!
Understanding the Ebay maze takes real life experience like a mouse doing this every day, only if they live and hibernate in that maze for years would they know how to confront all these events .
And it just gets worse, with Ebay dictating shipping, making Paypal mandatory, not being able to leave neg or neutral feedback, specifying return policy,DSR ratings etc ect.
And after you learn all the ropes, you find out Ebay is just a venue and cant do much for you,you are SOL!
Google does not hire stupid people.
