When the buyer picked 1st class. They didn't pay enough for priority.
I guess I have to check each payment for that now too. Don't we have enough to do???

You can always eliminate options, make it priority only or first class/parcel post only.
I always ship first class or parcel post,I use priority shipping at my discretion, bidders dont seem to care.

Yes I can do that but that's not really the point. Paypal changed it and the buyer didn't pay enough but did pay for insurance. If I wasn't paying attention I could have shipped it priority w/o insurance. If it was lost - it would be me that has to come up with the money.

I dont understand what you mean by 'Paypal changed that'?
When I go to Paypal to print shipping label,Paypal lets us decide how we are going to ship, how can Paypal change that?

I don't understand the problem here either. If they picked 1st class, why would they pay for priority??

For at least a year now, I have noticed that on International orders, Paypal always indicates the shipping as "EXPRESS Mail"
on the payment notice, even though the customers usually opt for Priority Mail on the checkout.

I just assumed it is some type of Paypal international default for the emails and have always ignored it with no problems.

Perhaps this is what is happening with your
"Priority Mail" vs "First Class"?

when the two of you said paypal indicates EMS or Paypal changes it to priority, just where does Paypal specify them?
In your email notification such as you have cash or when you go up to the site and print the shipping label?
For overseas shipping,I dont even bother to go to Paypal site to print EMS or Prioirty shipping,as I ship first class,so i just write down their shipping address by hand and slap a stamp on the box.
Of course it is not trackable ,

hwahwa,
I am referring to the Paypal you have received a payment email notification.

Both say priority but the buyer used Vendio's check out and checked 1st class w/insurance. The auction allowed priority but that was $5.00 and they paid $4.40 which included insurance of $1.70.
Somewhere between the Vendio check out and Paypal it was changed to priority but the amount paid wasn't changed?
I've never had this happen before so I assume it's a paypal glitch.
I'm on vacation now so I'll have to write paypal when I get home next week.
