Hi everyone, Is this Japanese or Chinese words etched on these earrings and can you tell if these are ivory just by looking at a picture ? Thanks in advance for any help !!

It looks like Chinese but I cant read one word of it.
The material is not ivory,there is no grains.

Thanks you two. It does have lots of grains Stop , thanks for that tip. I did the needle test also like the net said and it didn't sink in and hubby said it smelled like crap lol so it must be ivory yes ?

the hot needle test is not really a good test,it also ruin the appearance of the item.
If it smells awful,it could be plastic.
