I have three blueprints (3 sheets of 3 total) from January 1950, Hughes Aircraft Co. Tool Design division. "Mill Fixture Opp #1 Fitting, Gun Web Mount Details."

I need a reading on whether this item could be sold on eBay. Would the word "gun" automatically disallow the listing?

I don't think "gun" would disallow it, if that were the case, toy cap guns would not be allowed, etc...

I saw a few old blueprints on Ebay - they might find a buyer in the military category for WW2.

Thanks, Caroline. I seem to remember several threads here in the past dealing with the word "gun" and eBay's shyness about it.

I understand your concern, roadsmmith. I would also be leery of using "gun" in a title but it may depend on the category you list is...Maybe if the category is paper or something similar...Good luck.

I have many ads for guns and never have any trouble with them. List it in Collectibes, Ephemera or in Collectibles, Military.

Good luck!

Yes, I was aiming for the collectibles category. Also to consider is the collectibles/transportation/airplanes category. Too many choices!

I have a couple hundred listing with "gun" and no problems. it is when I used "pellet" that they would bounce my listing.

I'm sure you are aware that is a Howard Hughes company? Seems like that would make it more collectible.
