I came across this pretty bowl... light blue glass but it's a milky blue around the 'reticulated' edge.

max or anyone else out there know the particulars of this cute thang?

(okay, now i get to see if i can remember how to put pics on here)







--------arghh... did something wrong, and at the moment aol won't let me get into my ftp space (it says too many gateway sessions)... wth is that? lol ...

Without seeing the pictures, all I can say is that it's opalescent glass, possibly Fenton.

thanks max and mcjane ... got 'em up now (i think) lol... the glass is not marked of course, so that's why i came here first.

also, haven't decided if i should ebay this, or put it in with our Labor Day weekend yard sale. wwmd? (=what would max do)

Imperial Glass, Lace Edge. Made in many different colors 1930's and again in 1970's.
Edited to add, very pretty piece.

no way to tell 70's from the 30's eh?

and wwmd? ebay or yard sale (yard sale will consist of 90-some % 'antiques' stuff.

i see that ebay 310075647880 is same color, same 'lace' but different pattern. w/ no bids

but ended auction 260273486396 went for really good amount and it's real similar too.

I have found that the middle and lower end glass will bring nothing on Ebay, but seems to bring more in small local auctions or at flea markets and yard sales. I'm no glass person like Max - but I would put $15 on it and take $10 if offered.
