If someone emails & asks your reserve price should you & would you disclose it?

I don't use reserves any more and generally will just have the opening bid be the least that I'll accept. Back in the day when I did use reserves, though, I did tell interested bidders what it was.

I rarely use reserves due to Ebay's fee structure, but when I did I would reveal them if a buyer asked.

9 times out of 10 I will reveal it, and if it is really reasonable, I'll post the answer on the auction page.

I rarely use them unless it is something really good - I haven't gotten much in the way of bids at all when I've used reserves recently - people tend to just ignore reserve auctions - it's very frustrating considering how much they cost.

Thanks all. I kind of remembered seeing before that most VD sellers would disclose if they used a reserve.

I don't use reserves either. This was a question someone asked me & what better place to get an answer that VD.
