That's pathetic. They look like a somewhat normal couple.

Now I've seen it all.

This guy Kevin....he's doesn't have a problem with some strange guy, who's NOT part of the medical team, standing there staring at his wife's va j j? And Lauren doesn't have a problem with this, either?
Sheesh.

eBay's probably gonna pull this "auction."

You would think it would be pulled, but it already ended! I have a feeling this couple thought they would get tons of bids and publicity for this, interviews on news shows, etc. and it just didn't happen.

I know that it's kind of weird, and my wife and I wouldn't think of letting in a stranger without a medical reason for being there. OTOH, I would probably have paid $152 to see a childbirth before I had (okay, my wife had) children -- I attended Lamaze and all of the childbirth prep courses, but nothing really prepared me for the actual experience.

You're right Cash, it is kinda weird But I do see how someone would want to attend a birth if they were planning or expecting one of their own. I can handle that better than I can having the couple sell the right to see it.

Don't they show a tape or something in the prep classes? I don't think I would even sell the rights to watch my dog give birth.

They played a tape, but it was so "mediated" that I didn't feel that I was prepared. Keep in mind that I was preparing for my first child more than 27 years ago; now it's probably in high definition with surround sound.

I'm with you. I can understand buying it, but I can't understand selling it... which I guess doesn't make for much of a market

I didn't even want my husband in the room. I knew he could handle the blood and gore and all that, he was studying anatomy at the time, I just didn't want him to see me in that much pain. I think it's hard for a husband to be so helpless. He insisted though.

I'll never forget the look of horror on his face when he heard the peak of my screams. Then he almost cried when I cussed him out from one end of the room to the other after he ate a sandwich and dared to lean over me with cheese lingering on his breath.

Poor guy. lol

My dad was an ob/gyn and he really wanted to be in the room. He couldn't understand why I said no.

Did you click on the 1 FB this seller had?? It was for the same item, a place in the delivery room and it ended for 99 cents. A little weird.
