I just need to vent. Tried to list items in core and into my store after making all the stupid changes to the listings to appease idiotbay and now I am getting
Error 240:
The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy.
I pick a lousy week to give up smokin crack.

I agree (not about the crack)!!!
I keep getting an error saying that my item can't be edited?? I can't edit an item to make the required changes? What's up with that?

Well I called IdiotBay it appears that an old listing that I had at one time long ago (7 yeras ago)checked the OTHER box and put CASH in the payment section. Well I ran the ad back in July they bounced For CASH. No problem I rechecked and the box for other payment option was unchecked so I ran it again and it bounced. I ran it again and it bounced last week so again I looked and the OTHER payment box was unchecked but stilled showed in the listing as accepting CASH. Go figure. Must have been a glitch somewhere.
So I have completly deleted the item from inventory and I have 3 days OFF!!! I guess it is time to reflect on, do I want to work for IdiotBay or not. I normally run 5000-8000 items and they bust my chops for this. IdiotBay BLOWS 9 Years of this crap. There has got to be a better way.

Ebay has so many changes it is getting stressful just to keep up with its changes,I feel your pain.
Can you get a kid to help you remove the unkosher part of your listings?

EBay ended 2,000 of my listings for the same infraction at the end of May for containing the word CASH, even though they had a disclaimer that was approved by eBay stating I no longer accepted cash. Of course, they made the listings disappear from my Unsold listings, I am still going through my 8,000 postcards one by one to see which ones have to be relisted. Hmmm, how does this contribute to the user experience or safety?

hwahwa it was just one item causing the problem. Somewhere it was not getting picked up that I had unchecked the OTHER(cash) payment option. 5 infractions in 6 months. 3 in July and 2 this month. I am just a bad bad monkey.
I also found a great way to find which items have money order or check in the description. I just ran a search in my store for check and money order and there they be. More items to change.
Fluff I am on my way to check out PeSa. Anything has got to be better then this.
This is just getting way tooooo stupid. I spend half my day changing crap on listings that should just be automatically relisting.
