I am having problems maintaining viewable items. They items are listed, appear in my store and on search, and then disappear - so far some have been AWOL for over 24 hrs. I am currently looking for 10 additional items which no longer are visible in my ebay store or in search (whichever flavor you like).
After talking to two different ebay CS reps., I am now thinking that I have to make changes. Soon. There may be some credence to the claims by many that ebay is having problems.
ebay should have been ready for the volume of 30 day FP listings, and they are not. Further, it appears to me that the only entity benefitting from this new search is ebay.
I guess I am tired of paying for mediocrity and indecision by others. The site revisions and policy changes should have been implemented before the selling season began - not now.
I just cannot believe that I find myself in this position in mid September.

Bill,
I feel for you. Luckily we are heading out on a long vacation on September 30th so we have not listed any auctions for a couple of weeks but I have, so far, kept our EBay Store open and strangely enough have made some sales??
I am also beginning to think that the quote from 'Kramer' about EBay is so true and I paraphrase... 'they have lost their way and they need to find someone to buy them'
We were at our local live auction house last evening and they are having a hard time getting good prices now too and although I think it is a general malaise there are many folks who attend who sell on EBay and have cut back on buying until they can sell their current inventory.
We are in Canada and our economy is fairly good at present ( or still....) but the feelings are running high about EBay whichever Country folks are from.

I find the best place to find announcements about problems is on the Canadian board. www.ebay.ca They seem to be much quicker about reporting problems.
