I just tried to leave the following positive feedback for a seller: FANTASTIC SELLER! Beautiful items. Thanks for great service. A+++". I got a red alert message from eBay saying I couldn't leave that feedback because my comment contained prohibited words or an e-mail address. Can anyone offer some insignt as to what's wrong with my feedback comment? I'm baffled!

I suppose one of those teenagers who works at eBay is a prude and somehow is misconstruing the word "service." Otherwise, who the heck knows?!
An elderly spinster professor at UNLV where my husband was also a professor called me at the Las Vegas newspaper where I worked. She objected to a feature story I'd written, which had a "dirty word." When asked, she said it was "overriding", which she swore was a sexual term.
Go figure.

Actually, my first comment was "Thanks for shipping help". My GREAT seller agreed to ship the items directly to the lady I was purchasing them for. I got the nasty red notice for THAT comment too. I tried the "service" comment as a replacement. That didn't work either! Sign...I hope other satisfied customers don't have similar problems when they try to leave positive comments!

I don't see that either of those comments should cause a problem.
You could try 'Dead or Alive Help' and get their take on it!
Just a thought but why not look at the Seller's other feedback, find one you like and use exactly the same wording and see if it works! Sounds silly but may be a way of testing the broken old system.
Edited because I can't spell....!

I went ahead and changed to a more "acceptable" comment...but also have contacted eBay with the question. Haven't heard anything back yet...
