This is nuts. I'm trying to pay for a few eBay items with either of my (perfectly good) credit cards on file w/ Paypal...but I don't see any option for using them in Paypal check-out, just withdrawal from my checking, by Paypal balance, echeck or apply for a Paypal Plus card.

I've spent an hour trying to figure this out. I see where there should be a "View Limit" button on my main Paypal account page...but I don't have one.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

look under Profile and see what it said about your 'good' credit cards.

Hi. I've done that. It just shows the two cards in my Profile...confirmed, expiration dates okay.

In order to use a Credit Card, you must withdraw all funds from your PayPal account before attempting payment as PP will take any balances first.

Oh, Neglus...you're wonderful!!

That's the problem all right. I'll go grab my balance from Paypal right now.

Thanks!!!

Paypal makes it difficult and the button hard to find to pay with a credit card. Whenever I have to pay for a purchase, I always go to paypal first and empty it out.

Do they not still have the hard to find "other funding source" or some such wording right near the beginning of the payment process? They then give you a screen with all kinds of reasons why the bank payment is better, safer, yada yada and make you click on "Yes I am really so lame I don't understand that you are right" before they let you select the credit card.

Maybe I get it because I rarely have any balance in my PayPal account.

I use my Paypal debit card as a credit card when I go shopping and get 1 1/2% rebate from Paypal.
So there is some advantage keeping a credit balance in your Paypal account.
You can also transfer fund from your bank account into your Paypal account and go shopping.
