Has anyone tried enclosing a postcard with an eBay order?
My thought is that the enclosed postcard with space for feedback, and stars which can be darkened along with the exact eBay categories, might just be used by the buyer, instead of doing the eBay thing.
Further, since the buyer is only interested in their own feedback, there would be no need to do feedback for the seller on eBay, since they already responded by postcard.
At the least you might find out how many buyers truly feel about doing business with you.

When they leave feedback for one seller,Ebay will prompt them to leave feedback for the other sellers.
Is your postcard prestamped, they will have to make an effort to mail you postcard and you will have to enter it yourself on Ebay,if I understand what you are trying to accomplish.
PS.I usually throw everything else away besides the goods I puchased-box,shredded paper, card, candy and all that BS inside the box.

The postcard would be prestamped. I have no desire to give that information to eBay.
Actually, it would be great to receive feedback from a buyer, without interference from eBay.
Our stores at Ebay, BidStart, eBid, and DelCampe are only boutique stores, and provide extra sales from buyers who only shop on those sites.

I can see where they may send it back if they are pleased but if they aren't, I believe they would leave less than 5 stars on ebay.
This could backfire on you if the good FB goes un-posted on ebay but the bad doesn't??

I will be very careful not to send a card or other BS to hwahwa in the package, will save it for other buyers. I sometimes send an extra 'widget' that relates to the item, won't do that either.

Customers let you know how you are doing by shopping at your store, website, eBay, etc.
If they like your product and service they comeback. Who needs F&S.
