Here we go again...
Item sold on Friday at 2pm.
I have 2 day handling. I will ship on Monday. Early this morning (2am) I get shipping reminder email from eBay.
I just don't get eBay's "handling" period any more. How can they count an afternoon purchase as a handling day? How can they count a Saturday as a handling day when MOST post offices are closed on Saturday, and UPS/Fed Ex don't ship or pick up on weekends?
I should get this notice on Monday at the earliest and Tuesday the latest.
If I sell something on Friday at 2pm, what day should 2 day handling be??? I would think Monday is safe, Tuesday is the latest day to ship to meet 2 day handling.

I already have planned to schedule it to 3 day handling once my listings end today.
I called eBay about this a month ago and their CSR agreed that the shipping time line doesn't match what it should. Yet, they do nothing about it.
Do you think a payment day should count towards a handling day? At the very least, there should be a reasonable cutoff for what eBay considers a handling day, like 12 noon.
I have removed all of my settings for Express/Get It Fast after the holidays ended. After looking at what eBay considers handling time, if a payment comes in at 3pm for Express Mail, somehow eBay expects us to ship the item the same day for next day arrival. It makes no sense whatsoever. They even consider a Saturday as a handling day.

I stated 'ship next day' on all my listings and I never get a reminder from Ebay because I print my shipping label same or next day.
