I hope someone can enlighten me - every time I try to fill in an ISBN number in the slot given on the auction page, I get a message saying improper format. This message pops up as soon as I type anything in the box. Does anyone have any advise?
Thanks, Jane

Are you using Caps?

No, no caps. even if I type just numbers I get the same message. I am doing something wrong - just can't figure out what.

Hello,

The system just starts checking for the formatting as soon as you enter the field. Just enter the numbers by themselves, without any dashes. As soon as you have all of the numbers in the field, the little red warning message goes away. It's just checking to be sure the correct number of characters are here and in ISBN format.

For example if you were to enter 9780837603001 into the field, the error in red goes away, but not until you type that last number 1 into the field. (or it would go away as soon as you pasted the whole value here.)

Regards,
Chris
