Now that the D.C. Police have said they aren't interested in giving Gary Condit a lie detector test, and really, honestly, don't consider him a suspect in the disappearance of poor Chandra Levy;
maybe we might spare a little media oxygen for some other news items of interest. Not a lot of people are aware, for instance, that Philip Giordano, the Republican who ran against Joe Lieberman for that Connecticut Senate seat, is in jail for soliciting sex from girls as young as nine. Bet the GOP is grateful Lieberman won, huh?
Speaking of Republicans who did win, there's the little matter of the dead woman in Rep. Joe Scarborough's office. Say what? Yep, a 28 yr old aide by the name of Lori Klausutis; and a week after her body was found, no cause of death has been announced!
So what's the deal here? Gary Condit, a democrat, gets raked over by the media and convicted before trial without a single piece of evidence of guilt by all of the republican scandalmongers, but we don't hear a word about these crimes (or at least one confirmed crime) by these two republican officials?
You go find your own links. No one digging for dirt on Condit seemed to have any problem doing that about him.

I heard a very short squib about Phillip Giodano. But from nine year old children? He should have his balls cut off for that!
You won't find anything on republican scandals because as I've mentioned earlier that Trent Lot came out to the media and told them point blank that they'd be personally investigated by the FBI if any of them ever again dared to dig up a news story against another republican the way that Salon Magazine did with that Henry Hyde infidelity story. The media may be a lot of things, but they aren't as stupid as the conservative media owners are trying to make them appear to be. Nope, scandals only happen to Democrats -- or anyone else that the GOP gets to disliking.

I wonder if someone checked the political affiliation of the attendees at Katherine Graham's funeral?

And which president was the one her paper helped to get out of office?
Nice try...

Maybe if some of his fellow Democrats would quit trying to take advantage of his situation to make themselves look better then they would be in a better position to cry foul and to tell the Republicans to shut up. I've yet to see a politician from either party who doesn't find a way to take advantage of the slightest hiccup that anyone around them makes. There was a time when politicians at least had a sense of party loyalty... no more. Now it's each to his own and let's see who's left standing.
The sad thing is that the closer they get to Washington the more cut-throat they become. It's something in the air... or maybe it's in the water.
Let's fire em all and start over.

Hi Zilvy... you organize the whole thing and just tell me where to sign, o.k.?
The thing that incensed me over D. Feinsteins remarks is that there was absolutely no rhyme or reason for her to have come out with a statement of any kind regarding Condit, much less one so flippin uppity. (for lack of a better word) IMO, she saw the focus shifting away from Condit and realized that her window of opportunity for free publicity was slipping away... so took one more dig at Condit while she could. A true snake among snakes.

Hiya mybiddness!
Doesn't it make you wonder if anyone that chooses political office as a career isn't some kind of narcissistic megalomaniac? Or, IOW...a self-centered nutball?

What\'s a republican to do?....
How about..Devil's
Island...Would that be a good place for the lot of them to end their days????
Or any VERY REMOTE PLACE will do....I say, let's re-open Alcatraz...There, they can bash each other to a pulp, for all I care....
Talking about slime, bush has made the most ARROGANT comment yet...No link, just heard it on a discussion panel on NPR yesterday...he is supposed to have said, when faced with compromises and getting about 90% of his demands:
"90% of what I want is not enough...A dam napoleon....with only 1% of the brain.....
Vive La Dictatorship...

What\'s a republican to do?
Well, vote republication, I guess. The only thing that has bothered me about President George W. Bush is the old S&L scandals which his dad covered with taxpayer money and W received a bunch of it. I think he is doing a good job as president at the present time though. Does anyone know exactly how many children Mr. Bill C. has fathered so far???

Oh, that's right. I heard his [GWs]girlfriend had an abortion so that doesn't count.
No one can be sure how many either of them have. Not you..not me.

Ontime, what does how many kids each has fathered have to do with running a country?
