A more concise manifesto would be "bye!", but it may already have been used.

Actually it was "good-bye" that has already been used - many months ago when Fashion decided to manifesto out. She posted it on the original one-word thread.

Too bad Fashion left. I always liked her posts. Maybe someday.....?
Angel, is this a joke?

I'll check with her to be sure, Irene, but that was not her last one. The last was monosylybic; I know that because mine was fewer letters and it griped her.

Yes, Fashion did come back some weeks later (almost everyone who manifestos does do so - even if their manifesto is only one word!). She didn't stay long though.

Msmiller never posted again either. It was the treatment of her that prompted the Waca outburst. Everyone conveniently ignored that at the time.

I get the feeling that Mssmiler morphed, not left. Or went back to his/her original ID. I think she was a secondary personality from the get-go.

I stand corrected. Yes, I didn't ignore it either, Linda_K. In fact, I was posting on the second thread that stood for some days. I remember submitting a particular post and finding to my astonishment that the whole thread was WOMD.

Oh yes, Spaz...I agree. Morphing is the norm around here. Mssmiler was a caricature, IMO.

Yup, which is why I didn't feel especially terrible about the treatment "she" received. That, and her "my, what an interesting array of insects you are," attitude.

I didn't feel at all terrible. From the moment that persona appeared, I just wanted to smack it. Same with Waca.

Heh, no. Smiler didn't irritate me as much as she did others, but then I didn't engage her much either. Sometimes it's better to watch.

Well, I must admit to being puzzled. To my knowledge Angel4u had no arguments, feuds or problems with anyone on AW. Is this indeed a manifesto, or did he/she simply wish to start a thread *about* the TV show "Weakest Link" & use a provocative opening?

Who is a few sandwiches short of a picnic? Ann is fun...that little elfin grin and twinkle in her eye! I like the rapport that some of the constestants get going with her...on occasion she has a hard time suppressing a smile.
