I don't know how many of you have heard of this story, but in Kansas City the Feds have busted a local pharmacist with diluting the chemotherapy drugs in his stock with saline solution, sometimes to the point of adding 98% saline to 2% of the required drug. The guy admitted to them that it was pure greed...the drugs were so expensive, and he was able to collect many times the amount charged for these cancer drugs.
As of now, his net worth is estimated at 10 million.
It is estimated that he did this little trick at least 150 times, to 30-50 people.
Right now, he faces a possible fine and up to 3 years in jail.

3 years? Not nearly enough. I saw this, and I'm discussed. I have a family member in chemo right now, and I'd be ready to kill someone over this.

Humfph! I say inject the bastard with cancer cells until he gets sick and then give him his diluted medicine to treat his illness. Maybe that'll cure his other illness: greed! That's just how angry that report made me feel!
I am getting so sick and tired of greedy people. Everywhere you go, greed, greed, greed. Colleges do not charge "fair" tuition, they charge as much as they can get away with! The same goes for automobile mechanics, insurance companies, food chain stores, you name it! Whatever happened to the theory of charging people what they can afford, rather than charge them whatever you can get away with by law?

In a similar vein...they are now robbing nursing homes in Mass. to get that expensive painkiller cancer patients need. Can't remember the name of it, but it's worth a fortune on the street to addicts.

I really feel for his victims. Three years is nothing. How much more life could his victims lived (quanity and quality) if they'd had the medicine they needed? It is an outrage.
And the people who have already died-- their families must be heartbroken again. It is just so sad!
