Even what he buys makes the news.

Wonder if they're for Hillary or Chelsea.

When George returns from vacation he will have spent almost half of his presidential term "on vacation"...lolling about the ranch in blue jeans...while his unscrupulous buddies rape the poor American people.

And you are concerned about the fact that Clinton is having a well deserved vacation in Rio?

Maybe George could use one of those bikinis to keep his a** cool on the Crawford golf course.

Perhaps Bill has a new hobby and intends to wear it himself.

I believe it is OK for him to buy anything he wants and to go whereever he wants isn't it? He is not the President anymore. Too bad, I miss him.

He probably bought it just to see if some idiot would print a story about it.

I miss him too.

Ditto on missing him. I sincerely like the Clintons. Bush annoys the hell out of me!

Too bad the article didn't disclose what Anthony Hopkins purchased-- we all need to know such important things and how on earth will I be able to fall asleep tonight without this information?

:0)
Ah, the media!

I think Hannibal is after his (Clinton's) Liver!!....
Gee, LindaK, I think you made it pretty clear that according to the article in the Newpaper even what he buys makes the news!!(please note she included a link or lynx) Even I didn't take that as a slur or political statement!

I guess the bushwhakers needed yet another forum....I hope you have learned your lesson, little lady,...never, never mention the SACRED BULL even in passing!
And whatever, you do, don't call him trailer trash or you'll have krs all over the post misconstruing what you said and making other posters hysterical.

Let's hear it for the fayva beans and chianti, and a wonderful meal!! Oh by the way I understand the local ladies prefer bikinis to strings of beads as trade items!!

"Wonder if they're for Hillary or Chelsea."

Obvious and tedious slur. The implication that the bikini is for 'another woman' is clear.

Clinton has had the last laugh. The people who wanted a "change" are finally getting what they wanted. Everyday thousands of jobs are being lost, the surplus is gone, and now they are in social security. The heck with our pink slips and empty stock savings we got Clinton out so we can live on dirt and water. Come in 2004 these will be the same people who will want dumbya gone just like his daddy.

I think that your analysis is correct, chum. Clinton has indeed gotten in the last laugh. Instead of being ostracized and vilified as the Republicans had hoped, instead he has retired into Rock Stardom! Everywhere he goes, adoring crowds surround him and he is the Darling of the media. As much as he's tried his best to stay out of the limelight, the paparazzi keeps following him and reporting his small doings like as if he was royalty. and why not? He was good for this country and while he was in office, everyone's standard of living went up. It must tear the guts out of Republicans to see their own Darling Boy being vilified and boo'd wherever he goes to the point where he only speaks where crowds are sure to clap at what he says -- especially when they're lobbiests dressed up as ordinary working folk.

That was a really cheap shot ast someone who is no longer in office Mr. Clinton can wear a tutu as far as I am concerned...He is on his own time...

BTW: Where in the dickens is Cheney?

He seens to have evaporated! I guess bushytail was told to do the job that he is being (over) paid for; it really was starting to look bad the have Cheney do EVERYTHING while the Shrubb strolled in the Rose Garden

I agree, shosh. This article is a cheap shot. Even the question,
"Wonder if they're for Hillary or Chelsea." is a cheap shot.

Do you feel like asking...Will the real President please stand up?

I really feel sad for everyone that is being laid off, but it is their fault in a way. Last summer a friend of mine Terry bragged how he was going to vote for bush because he was tired of Clinton and his relationships. I asked him well what about your job security? He told me all bush and co. will need to do is keep things the same, and it will be like Clinton is still there. Now a year later he is unemployed drawing his unemployment checks. He lost his new car, much of his 401K, and cant find a new job. I asked him if he regrets voting for Bush and he replied yes, and he thinks his social security will be lost as well. When I told him there is 3 years left he shook his head in disgust. I wonder how many of the thousands that lose their jobs daily have the same regrets?

Chum

I'm sorry about your friend and all the other people who have lost their jobs. The people that I talk to are very unhappy with the damage that President Bush has done so far...even those who voted for him.

I just hope that your friend doesn't find himself fighting a war for this dumb sob.

chum: I too, am sorry to hear about your friend...and it really was not his fault: he believed in the integrity of the person he voted for...Unnfortunately, bushytail has NO integrity whatsoever...So far, the only people I hear are happy with the new prez are high-up-there business people, with a lot of stocks, who do not care one way or the other about Social Security...BUT, the stock market keeps slipping and slipping...so these very same people could soon find themselves wishing they HAD Social Security!

In every store for ordinary folks, like me, I hear nothing but discontentment..Surely, shrubb cannot be blind to it...That's probably why he is hiding in his "Crawfish Ranch"...

However, I firmly have faith that his day will come...perhaps not right away or during hid term of office, but never forget that "what goes around comes around..."

Buy lotsa collectible on Ebay...That is your nest egg.... Could be that Stocks could become real collectors items if shrubb sticks around long enough to destroy even THAT.....
