The other day I had to go to my Jewelers ,right down town Portland
There is never ever ever a place to park ..so I whip out my
(90 year old grandmas) Handy Cap parking pass hung it on
the mirror and zipped in the first place I saw....Well ..some lady
saw this and A few colorful words soon fell from the dear old women lips..
Yes I was Busted......There I said it and now feel better..I think
Now it’s your turn ...anybody else want to fess up to a little
something silly...Come on... Monseigneur Randy awaits your confession..

Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned and break one of the commandments on a daily basis. I confess: I hate my neighbor! I know I'm supposed to love my neighbor, but I loathe her...I can't stand her...I want to choke her. WHY, you ask? Because she is a bigot and makes snide racial remarks whenever we speak. I can't abide racial intolerance. Yes, it's true...I'm prejudiced against bigots. This must certainly meet your "silly" requirement!

I have two friends who are wheelchair bound. Sorry, but what you did is more than a silly little thing. Better to be embarrassed by someone seeing you than to get a ticket for parking there, or worse yet, preventing someone who really needed it from parking. Don't let it happen again.

Confession? I drive too fast, especially since I drive a car now instead of a van. I am however VERY careful on residential streets. It is the 4 lane road with the 35 mph speed limit that drives me crazy.

I can identify with your post! Recently, I was called a bigot here because I have absolutely no love for a racist.

Neither do I cozy-up to harpies and AH's so I'm a bigot.

So, I will say a little prayer... if someone's God is listening...Please, dear God
Give me the strength and compassion and understanding to love all racists so that I will not be a bigot.

Confession... all of the above is hogwash. I will never cozy up to harpies and racists and AH'S.

Helen

Edited to remove smilies.

Helen, who in the world called you a bigot? You were called intolerant(by another poster, not me)...that was the only direct remark made and intolerant doesn't mean bigot.
I confess I have a hard time keeping my ignore button on, but I promise to do better whenever, possible.

HJW: ? You are doing it again. Not everything is about you. Why come charging in making accusations of an attack where none has been made--and name-calling to boot?

I have to say that not liking my neighbor is also my daily sin... The guy is dumber than dirt. Doesn't have the sense to poor piss out of a boot. If you look under stupid in the dictionary, his picture is there. Why do I give a rat's patootey? Because he has sole custody of two small children - their mother is worse and a drug addict to boot! Aaaargh!

Something silly? Hmmm. I dont think it was silly, but I did feel badly. A customer won two items and when I told her the shipping after the second item was won (different day) she asked me if I took Paypal (and my emails to her say clearly NO PAYPAL). I cop't a 'tude and she emailed back, saying she only asked because she wanted to make sure payment arrived promptly since the second sale ended 4 days later and she didnt want me to have to wait longer than necessary. I felt so bad for being 'tude-ish, I sent them to her free, and I paid the shipping.

I confess, I cannot stand my sisters, that make up mostly what is left of my family

My sister invited us over on Thanksgiving, my
daughter and her boyfriend also. She then called back a day later, and told me her husband would not allow tatoos or piercings at his table, so my daugther and boyfriend could not come (gee but I could?) told her, sorry, and thank you for telling me, didn't feel like taking a ferry and driving all that way anyway.

The last day my dad was here this summer, his wife asked me to go visit this sister more,(since my dad can't communicate much any more) since she is so lonely out there in Port Angeles' I said no. She was shocked, I told her what she did. In her silence, my partner told her 'there is one thing I do not tolerate, that is intolerance' She then wanted to leave quickly.

Hey I don't like piercing or tatoos, but she's my kid, also a member of this so called 'family'.

So I do not talk to or have anything to do with all but one of my 5 siblings.

Helen... what is an AH? (I really do not know)

ed: Oh nevermind, I think I know what AH is.. by hepburns post.. duh, thank you hepburn, all these initials people use, I thought it might be a certain person

Since the time I made that post, Helen has insisted I called her a bigot. I ignored all those posts on that subject, refusing to dignify them with a response. Perhaps I was wrong. Perhaps she truly does not understand the cautionary nature of my post. It, of course, called her no name at all.

Edited to point out the last line of my post...conveniently left out.

"Helen...

Read what you've been saying and consider this:

big·ot (big'?t)

One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant
of those who differ.

I'm sure you don't want to become what you hate the most."

Hi Toke!

Meya, it seems there is no room for fun stuff anymore, without the everpresent things you just mentioned. Sad, aint it? However, I do wonder who the harpies are?

Lets have a toilet paper fight! Similar to spit balls, but larger.

We need new smilies. One that squirt flames or water.

Doesn't have the sense to poor piss out of a boot...

I'm trying, but this one is too good to let go of. Someone please explain?

Also, the original post is nothing to post on a board as:

...a little something silly.

both my mother and step-father have legitimate Handy Cap tags/plates. If I would have seen you do it I would have in the least keyed your car and probably got into something more with you if they would have needed to park and you took the last place.

Maybe going to your Jewelers you should have enough money for a parking garage?

not trying to start anything here, just expressing my feelings.

edited to add a space.
